Lynn Markoff
PresidentLynn Markoff is a professional communicator with over 30 years of experience working in multi-national organisations and serving clients across the globe. She has held senior communications roles in large international companies including Dart Enterprises, Cable & Wireless (now Flow), Global Directories (now Yello) and Enbridge Pipelines.
Lynn has also worked extensively as a freelance writer and editor, and as a consultant on communications including marketing and cyber security communications. She is also an expert on internal communications for large organisations.
Lynn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada, and is a qualified Prosci ADKAR® change management expert.
Alan Markoff
Chief Editor & Content WriterAlan’s history on Grand Cayman dates back to 1982. Over his career he has worked in a variety of media and communications roles, as well as in the real estate development industry.
Starting in 2012, Alan held media positions with Cayman Net News, and The Cayman Compass and he served as managing editor of Camana Bay Times from 2016 to 2022.
Passionate about food and wine, he served as the first editor of Flava Magazine in 2012 and 2013 and as editor of the Lifestyle section of The Cayman Islands Journal.
His articles have appeared in a wide variety of Cayman Islands publications including Cayman Financial Review, Inside Out, What’s Hot, The Chamber Magazine and Grand Cayman Magazine.
Alan has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Albany (New York) and is highly skilled in numerous writing styles including creative writing, expository writing, basic news writing and feature writing about business, the financial services industry and lifestyle subjects.
